Skills

The basic know-how that you learn and which you rely on to do more complex tasks.


Status quo

The existing state of affairs; the present situation or condition.


Subsidiary

Being at a lower level and therefore under the control of what is at the higher level.


Synthesis

The combination of parts or elements so as to form a whole.

Theme

The topic of discussion or writing; the main subject of a talk, book, film etc.


Topic

A subject that is written about, discussed or studied; a subject or theme of a speech, essay, book etc.


Traits

A particular quality or characteristic that someone or something has.

Variable

For the purposes of research, anything that has a quality or quantity that varies; a person, place, thing or phenomenon that you are measuring for your project.
